This cactus home is an ecological pot made of recycled materials. Its structure is made of the plastic fraction of electrical cables and used chewing gum. Inside the vase, you can find drainage clay spheres that contain cigarettes residues in their composition besides compost, organic matter, produced by the composting process of organic domestic residues.

This concept was developed through a partnership between CVR – Centre for Waste Valorisation and Laboratório da Paisagem, within the scope of the G4CE – Guimarães for Circular Economy project. The manufacturing materials used are collected in the “Eco-Pontas” and “Papa-Cicletes”. These are street containers that challenge the consumer with questions that are answered with the deposition of chewing gum and cigarette butts.
