IMP_4.0

The IMP_4.0 project aimed to research and development of a cloud computing integrated and interoperable service platform, which supports the Software Product Lines variability. (“Software Product Lines”)

The IMP_4.0 platform was developed and properly supported by a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), which integrates the services in a generic and standardized way, making it available to the market as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model. This project is an answer to the critical need of F3M – Information Systems, SA Company to optimize and accelerate its developing process of innovative and technologically advanced solutions capable of providing business customers with tools to support all their processes of decision-making.

IGPM

The project aimed to improve the performance of the Bosch Car Multimedia Portugal, SA, Braga MFE1 unit in the development and management of industrialization projects, in order to be more competitive in attracting new projects and more efficient in carrying out ongoing projects.

With this project, the MFE1 unit achieves recognition as the leading unit in the establishment and definition of new industrialization project management practices and the provision of IT technologies to support industrialization project management throughout the Car Multimedia division.

Thus, the project was focused on:

  • Develop an integrated industrialization project management system.
  • Develop a new systematized, integrated, global and social approach to industrialization project management;
  • Extend and integrate existing computing tools into a single computing tool to generate real-time information on ongoing industrialization projects and knowledge of past industrialization projects across multiple devices and locations. 

CCG Participation:

  • Analysis of IT tools support in industrialization project management;
  • Design of the interoperability architecture;
  • Development of the prototype of the industrialization project management computer system.

MiCabCad

MiCabCad (Microcalcification based Computer Aided Diagnosis) is an advanced computer solution to support the diagnosis of pathologies related to micro-calcification in mammography solutions. MiCabCad is an highly innovative solution that uses image processing to enhance, identify and extract information from microcalcifications’ clusters, and then applies artificial intelligence techniques in order to identify and highlight suspicious areas.

When compared with existing systems, MiCabCad is at the level of excellent performance and differs by its portability, not associated to any acquisition system or brand, which allows its use on any personal computer.

MiCabCad is available in the form of a plug-in for Osirix® software, which lets you enjoy all the viewing convenience of Osirix® and the pathologies automatic detection of MiCabCad. At this time, it is available for testing on request.
