The project aimed to improve the performance of the Bosch Car Multimedia Portugal, SA, Braga MFE1 unit in the development and management of industrialization projects, in order to be more competitive in attracting new projects and more efficient in carrying out ongoing projects.
With this project, the MFE1 unit achieves recognition as the leading unit in the establishment and definition of new industrialization project management practices and the provision of IT technologies to support industrialization project management throughout the Car Multimedia division.
Thus, the project was focused on:
- Develop an integrated industrialization project management system.
- Develop a new systematized, integrated, global and social approach to industrialization project management;
- Extend and integrate existing computing tools into a single computing tool to generate real-time information on ongoing industrialization projects and knowledge of past industrialization projects across multiple devices and locations.
CCG Participation:
- Analysis of IT tools support in industrialization project management;
- Design of the interoperability architecture;
- Development of the prototype of the industrialization project management computer system.
