The CMMS – Computerized Maintenance Management System aimed to develop a computerized maintenance management system for Bosch Car Multimedia Portugal, SA.
The proposed system resulted in an upgrade of the previous system through a new architecture and a set of advanced management methodologies and features.
This project has increased efficiency through the application of a just in time system and responsiveness by reducing the risk of prototyping and production failure due to maintenance failures.
The CCG, represented by its applied research field cVIG, contributed to the following tasks:
- Implementation of a new augmented reality feature able to present the maximum information available in the system / database (monitored parameters, documentation, maintenance history, spare parts available, etc.);
- Development of web applications and services for mobile access to information about spare parts, equipment, facilities and indicators.
